PSBreastfeeding offer:
- Breastfeeding educational services to the NHS
- Training for parents, Health Professionals and Allied Health workers
We can:
- Provide multi-partnership cost-effective solutions to help you develop breastfeeding services.
- Train Health Professionals with courses tailor-made for your team.
- Map and audit local breastfeeding services in line with NICE requirements.
- Set up peer support programmes and provide training for peer supporters .
- We use experienced local independent Board Certified Lactation Consultants and Trained Breastfeeding Counsellors who have successfully completed a nationally recognized/accredited course.
Our current partners include Eastern and Coastal Kent PCT, Sure Start Sheerness, Sure Start Ashford, Canterbury Christchurch University, the Biological Nurturing Project and the Government Offices of the South East,
