In addition to the help you get from your Midwife and Health Visitor there are
- local suppport groups,
- local and national support phone lines and
- websites that can also help you.

LOCAL SUPPORT GROUPS
Sometimes it is hard to go along to a new group, but all mothers there will know how it feels! You do not need to be breastfeeding to come along to any of the groups. Pregnant mums are very welcome to come along before their baby is born.

These are national networks of trained
breastfeeding volunteers who have all
breastfed. Phone lines are open approx 8:00am-
10:00pm but messages can be left outside these
hours. Anyone can phone to talk through a
breastfeeding issue. They will not give
medical advice but will help you find the help
